Shop and Stop and giant food have joined the mets, boston red sox, and baltimore orioles to "strike out" childhood cancer. They plan to raise $5.25 million. This is not a new charity as it has been existance for 17 years. The program is named the "triple winner program" and since its start in 17 years ago has raised $38 million to support research of childhood cancer. The Triple Winner Game is a baseball themed scratch ticket that offers free products, gift cards, and even $10,ooo cash prizes.
"The Orioles are proud to team up with Giant's Triple Winner program and provide our fans with the opportunity to demonstrate their support to help eradicate this terrible disease," said Greg Bader, Orioles Director of Communications.
